Anna and the three orphans The picture above shows Anna and the three children she agreed to watch after in 1999. Along with Pastor Nashon Asero are the chickens that started it all.
Anna died on July 7th 2007. We named this ministry after her and her tithe, an egg.
The girl married when she became 18 years old and the two boys are working along side Pastor Asero.

In Kenya, we are working with Pastor Nashon Asero, and his church committee members, to coordinate and provide animals and seed for people in his community. Here, Pastor Asero is presenting a Bible and chickens to a widow in his community. (the committee was formed in October 2006)
The pictures above show some of those benefiting from our Animal & Seed Project. The animals which are chickens, goats, rabbits, and ducks, provide a source for eggs, milk, and food for their owners. We provide a pair of animals and feed and they agree to give the first born of the animals back to the church to be distributed to another family. We have a similar program for the seed. We provide seed, (maize, sorghum, kale, tomato, beans, millet, and fertilizer) and they in turn give 10% back to the church to either give out to other families to grow a crop, sell for needed items, or use as food for the community. (Ten sets of animals were given out in October and November of 2006. The seed project began in the fall of 2007)
