Burundi

I tagged along with Barry Wood Ministry on a mission trip to Burundi and Maasi Mara in 2012. I then went on to Kisumu Kenya.

In Bujumbura, Burundi I visited our embassy and gave our Marine troups Dr. Pepper, Oreo cookies, Gold Fish crackers and Slim Jim's.........they appreciated the gifts.

The results of the Burundi / Maasi Mara mission trip were outstanding:

• 26 total volunteers and leaders
• 1,100-1,500 people received medical attention and/or medicine
• 300-500 elderly people received reading glasses
• 300-500 children received shoes
• 300-500 children received toys
• 50 scoccer balls and basketballs were given out along with about 30 pair of scoccer shoes
• 102 pastors attended Barry Wood's and Dudley Hall's discipleship training
• Several hundred school children and villagers heard the word of God through using the "evangicube" and volunteers sharing their testimonies.

Your donations and contributions provided many of the items given to the families there.
